Foveal and Retinal Nerve Fiber Layer Thickness in Children With a History of Retinopathy of Prematurity Treated With Bevacizumab: A Cross-sectional Study

Objectives: This study aimed to investigate the effects of bevacizumab (an anti-VEGF antibody) on structure retina such as thickness nerve fiber layer and macula with optical coherence tomography (OCT) in retinopathy prematurity (ROP) patients. Materials Methods: cross-sectional was conducted 2021-2022 Tabriz, Iran preterm children aged 4-6 years. To this end, a total 300 eyes 150 were assigned three groups then examined by performing Fundus examination retina, eye refraction test, OCT imaging. The first group included 100 history ROP treated bevacizumab, second consisted but improved spontaneously, third comprised without ROP.
